Eunice Rotary Spirit of Christmas Food Drive set The annual Spirit of Christmas Food Drive sponsored by Super 1 Foods is here. Each year the Eunice Rotary Club’s goal is to deliver baking hens and boxes of food to 100 needy families in the Eunice area.

Eunice High earns an A in state scores

Eunice High School earned its sixth straight A in the school performance scores across the district in scores released Wednesday at the Louisiana Department of Education. Eunice High School was the only regular high school in the parish earning an A.

State surpluses likely to continue

Mental health professionals oppose sending more youth to adult prisons

Senate backs off some tax cuts

School projects finished

St. Landry Parish school construction projects started in the wake of the Covid pandemic were declared finished at a Committee of the Whole meeting Tuesday in Opelousas. “This will be very short and very sweet, we’re finished.

Acadia Parish police jurors OK pay raise
