Keep Eunice Beautiful, the Jean Lafitte Prairie Acadian Cultural Center and the Eunice Library hosted a downtown litter walk for National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 20. More than 40 volunteers picked up 31 bags of trash.

Acadia Parish PJ tables bonds-for-roads plan

By: Claudette Olivier Eunice News Following a 10-minute discussion about whether or not to pursue the sale of $10 million in bonds, the Acadia Parish Police Jury unanimously tabled the motion after its CPA advised them it not to pursue the funding option in light of the its current budget deficit.
