Principal from Eunice wins parish award

Eunice educator Karen Olivier was honored as St. Landry Parish High School Principal of the Year during ceremonies at the School Board’s meeting Thursday in Opelousas. Olivier has been principal of the Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts in Opelousas since 2012.

Pre-kindergarten registration dates set All Eunice public schools will be have pre-kindergarten signup now through May 18 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Children must be 4 years old by Sept. 30 in order to qualify for the pre-K program.
