The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office has been involved in numerous investigations involving the theft of crawfish, Sheriff KP Gibson said in a Crime Stoppers news release.
Maxine Trahan pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from her second arrest and charges of stealing money from an elderly Duson woman.
Trahan is the former spokesperson for the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
It is the second not guilty plea she has levied regarding taking money.
