Shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday, troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop I were notified of a two-vehicle crash on La. 367 near Max Road in Acadia Parish. The crash claimed the life of 21-year-old Kentaysia J. Wildridge of Crowley.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Coward Perks, and father, James Perks, both originally from Eunice. The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the VFW building on Bobcat Drive.
