Eunice man wanted after drug stash found

A Eunice man is sought in connection with a drug stash that included more than 3 pounds of crystal methamphetamine found at storage unit, according to St .Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz in a news release. Wanted is Charles Wesley Jr.

Eunice Police Arrests report

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Thursday, Jan. 25 Jordan Leday, 24, 200 block of Middle Lane, Opelousas. Probation warrant. Joshua Neville, 39, 300 block of South St. George, Eunice. DWI, resisting, speeding, no tail lights, improper lane usage.

Bicyclist struck, killed in hit-and-run crash in St. Landry Parish

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday, Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified of a hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist that occurred on La. 103 near Alex Stoute Road, north of Port Barre. The crash claimed the life of 54-year-old Daniel Craig Leger of Port Barre.

Juvenile escapee from Eunice remains at large

St Landry Crime Stoppers needs help locating a juvenile who escaped from the St. Landry Parish Jail. During the evening hours of Jan. 19, a corrections deputy was overtaken by three juveniles that were housed together.
