Eunice man wanted after drug stash found

A Eunice man is sought in connection with a drug stash that included more than 3 pounds of crystal methamphetamine found at storage unit, according to St .Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz in a news release. Wanted is Charles Wesley Jr.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Friday, Jan. 26 Kenderrick Jamal Lamb, 32, 1100 block of East Overton Street, Opelousas. Aggravated second degree battery. Arrested by Opelousas Police.

Bicyclist struck, killed in hit-and-run crash in St. Landry Parish

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday, Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified of a hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist that occurred on La. 103 near Alex Stoute Road, north of Port Barre. The crash claimed the life of 54-year-old Daniel Craig Leger of Port Barre.
