Eunice man, 65, charged with raping mentally disabled woman

A 65-year-old Eunice man has been charged with raping a handicapped adult female who has the mentality of a child, according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz. In a news release, Guidroz stated on Aug.

Unrestrained driver killed in crash south of Eunice

Shortly after 1 a.m. Friday, Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified of a single-vehicle crash on La. 3116 near Donna Lane. The crash claimed the life of 79-year-old John C. Ledoux Jr. of Eunice.
