The following is an arrest by Eunice Police. January 31 David M. Haworth, 32, 400 block of Acadia, Eunice. Theft, less than $1,000, Refund fraud. Shelly Zalusky, 19, 2400 block of Johnson Hwy., Eunice. Theft by shoplifting. Frank Sinclair, 49, 2000 block of Atteberry Road, Eunice.

Informaton sought about attempted burglary in Mowata

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an attempted burglary at the Mowata Store, 30283 Crowley-Eunice Highway, at about 2:40 a.m. Jan. 17. According to a news release from Sheriff K.P.

Sheriff: Smash and grab bandits captured

Three people are charged in connection with two smash-and-grab burglaries in Evangeline Parish that happened Sunday, according to a news release from Sheriff Eddie Soileau.
