Eunice driver arrested for pointing a gun at a vehicle

A 55-year-old Eunice man was arrested in Bayou Vista after he pointed a gun at a vehicle on U.S. 90, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith said in a news release. Sandy J. Guillory, 55, of Acadia Street in Eunice, was arrested at 2:56 a.m. Sunday on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm.

Eunice trio arrested in Rayne on drug charges

A trio from Eunice faces various drug charges following a routine traffic stop in Rayne. Police Chief Carroll J. Stelly said uniformed patrol officers with the Rayne Police Department stopped a vehicle traveling north on the Church Point Highway with a burnt headlamp on June 6.
