There have been some complaints about scamming phone calls between of 3 and 4 a.m. targeting senior citizens and elderly citizens in Eunice, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.

RAYNE - Rayne Police Chief Carroll J. Stelly announced Rayne Police Officers arrested a 13-year-old male at Armstrong Middle School Tuesday morning after an officer learned from an anonymous source that the student had a handgun on campus.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking the public’s help to solve a cold case homicide. At 11:50 p.m. on April 3, 2015, the Crowley Police Department responded to Fat Boy’s Convenience Store at 324 W. Second St. where they discovered two victims fatally shot inside of a vehicle.
