Rayne Police seek man for contracting fraud

Investigators with the Rayne Police Department need help in locating Clavern Adams, 50, of Abbeville, according to Crime Stoppers of Acadia. Adams is wanted for felony contractor fraud.

Search warrant yields $25,000 in cash, drugs, pistol

A search warrant served on the morning of May 2 by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Enforcement Team led to the seizure of $25,205 in cash, drugs and a pistol, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz in a news release.
