Sheriff offering training for church security staffs

St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s training instructors who teach the concealed carry classes will also instruct the 8-hour tactical course for church security.

Tips sought to burglaries in Northern Acadia Parish

Living in the rural areas of a parish has its advantages, however coming home to find your residence burglarized is a feeling of being violated. Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating three separate burglaries which occurred on April 17 in the northern portion of Acadia Parish.
