St. Edmund Softball plays first scrimmage

Lady Jays dominate against Opelousas Catholic

By Rhett Manuel Sports Editor It’s not often that a coach gets to clear their bench in the heart of district play. When they do, it’s a pretty good feeling. In high school sports, clearing your bench is a sign of a job well-done in that night’s work. It shows your dominance.

Strong defense lifts Lady Cats to win

By Rhett Manuel Sports Editor It’s not every day when a school welcomes in two different teams for a girl-boy basketball double-header. But that’s exactly what last Friday looked like when Eunice’s girls welcomed in Vinton and Eunice’s boys brought in St. Martinville.

Reichenauer’s Carrer Night, McDonald’s late Dagger lifts LSUE past Jones

EUNICE– LSU Eunice Women’s Basketball used a career night and late game dramatics to seal an 86-83 win over Jones College on last Thursday inside the HPRE Center. The Bengals (12-6) won their third straight game over the Bobcats in the all-time series.

Tight games define St. Ed-Grand Lake hoops tilts
