Bengals hit the road for summer ball

When school is out for summer, it is normal for the students to scatter. But 17 LSU Eunice baseball players are spending their summer across the country participating in numerous collegiate leagues. “It is great that our players get to participate in these leagues,” LSUE head coach Jeff Willis said.

Bobcats down Rayne, 10-5

The Eunice Bobcats captured a 10-5 decision over the Rayne Wolves in Metro League action Tuesday at Bobcat Field. Rayne scored two runs in the top of the first inning against Eunice starting pitcher Jessi Linch, but the Cats tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the first inning.
