LDWF agents rescue couple from Southwest Pass in Vermilion Parish

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents rescued a husband and wife after their boat got stuck in Vermilion Parish on July 3. Agents were notified around 5:30 p.m.

Four Bobcats earn post season honors

The Bobcats advanced to the state baseball semifinals and four Eunice players were selected for the Louisiana Baseball Coaches All-State list. Pitcher Hudson Manuel, infielder Dru Phillips, outfielder Evan Fruge and desginated hitter Hayden Darbonne all earned post season recognition.
