Rebecca Miller’s second-grade class at Eunice Elementary recently studied about recycling in science. Students had to complete a project using an item that they were going to throw away and turn it in to something else. Students got creative.

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by August Broussard & Friends.
Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.
Some children may discover hobbies on their own, which is OK if it’s a hobby that they will enjoy and stick to.
I think children should get involved in a hobby whether big or small. With help and encouragement from parents, they can feel successful and build self-esteem through a hobby.
