Mr. and Mrs. Charles Feucht of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Leslie Katherine Feucht of Eunice to Derrick Gautreaux of Vidrine.
A Fourth of July at StoryTime hour was held Wednesday. A storybook, “What is the 4th of July?” by Elaine Landau, was read by children’s librarian Bobbie Bordelon.

Jenna Fusilier, John P. Timpa II, 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Lake Charles.
St. Edmund cheerleaders recently attended Southwestern Cheerleader Association camp at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. The Blue Jay cheer squad took home overall Grand Champion in the home cheer and dance routines, and the staff award.
The Wolves Cub Scouts planted a live oak tree on the playground at St. Edmund Elementary in April. This was a community project that was a requirement.
St. Edmund teachers in grades pre-k through 12th participated in a two-day math strategies training course. Sherri Addler, Singapore Math trainer, traveled from Arizona to present the course.
