St. Edmund Elementary second-grade students in Ali Cormier and Mary Joubert’s classes collected healthy snacks to be donated to the Belly Buddies project.
St. Edmund ninth-grade exchange student Andre LaPorte from Guatemala spoke to Ali Cormier and Mary Joubert’s second-graders. He talked to the students about schools in Guatemala compared to American schools.
This week’s Student of the Week is Bailey Michelle LeDoux, a sixth-grader at Central Middle School. Her parents are John and Tonya LeDoux.

Rhachelle and Travis Robinson announce the birth of their daughter, Chloe Celeste Robinson, born at Acadian Medical Center on Dec. 21 weighing 6 pounds and 7 ounces.

Water does the body good. I’m a firm believer of drinking water all day and have done so for many years. I very seldom drink a soft drink. I cannot remember the last time I drank a Coca-Cola and having an iced tea is a treat for me.
