Make plans early for landscape planting

By Dan Gill LSU AgCenter Horticulturist Late October through March is prime time for planting hardy trees, shrubs and ground covers in Louisiana landscapes. That means now is an excellent time to assess your landscape and begin to make plans for planting this fall.

Manage pain with massage therapy

I’m so thankful that I discovered massage therapy years ago. My only regret is that I don’t schedule massages more often. Not only does a massage works great wonders for your entire body, it is also a great way of relaxation and stress relief.

Golf Cart donated to Auction

Angelia Guillory, owner of A & C Golf Carts LLC, donated a 2013 Easy Go four-seat passenger Divided House (UL, LSU) Golf Cart to the annual St. Thomas More Fall Festival’s live auction. The custom-built golf cart is valued at $7,500. St. Thomas More annual Fall Festival is scheduled for Sept.

Troy LeJeune at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will feature performance by Troy LeJeune & Cajun Revue. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.
