Eunice High School seniors Taneisha Chavis and Cameron Fontenot conducted a toy drive throughout the month of December and donated over 100 toys today to the Welcome House Shelter in Crowley and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.

At each of the elementary schools in Eunice, the class collecting the most canned good items for the annual Rotary Christmas Food Box drive won a pizza party. Glendale Elementary’s Katie Richard’s pre-k class was declared the winner.
These Highland Elementary PBIS Star students were chosen for the second nine- week period of school. The students exhibited positive behavior, and showed respect and responsibility.
This week’s Student of the Week is Jadey Miller, a senior at Eunice High School. Her parents are Bridgette and Nicky Miller.
