Creole Accordion Kings at Liberty Saturday

The St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in New Orleans served as the setting for the evening ceremony uniting Lauren Kate Heinen and Tyler Steven Theriot in Holy Matrimony. The Nuptial Mass ceremony was held on Friday, June 16 with the Rev. Mitch Semar officiating.

‘A Sick Day for Amos McGee’ StoryTime hour

“A Sick Day for Amos McGee,” by Philip Stead, was the storybook read by Abigail Miller Wednesday during StoryTime hour at the library. Children also enjoyed crafting a red balloon on a stick, and ate a snack of cookies. Door prizes of mini inflatable beach balls were given away.
