St. Edmund cheerleaders attend SCA camp

St. Edmund cheerleaders recently attended Southwestern Cheerleader Association camp at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. The Blue Jay cheer squad took home overall Grand Champion in the home cheer and dance routines, and the staff award.

Wolves Cub Scouts plant live oak tree

Devin Joubert Alicia Robert and Trevan Joubert of Opelousas announce the birth of their son, Devin Lavine Joubert, born at Acadian Medical Center on May 31 weighing 7 pounds and 6.4 ounces. He was welcomed home by Alayshianna, Ja’quauin, and Trevan Joubert Jr.

A wedding at East Elementary

The kindergarten classes at East Elementary recently attended a wedding representing the letters “Q” and “U”. As part of their lessons on the alphabet, students participated in a wedding ceremony uniting “Ms. Q” and “Mr. U” as they join and work together to form words.
