St. Edmund cheerleaders attend SCA camp

St. Edmund cheerleaders recently attended Southwestern Cheerleader Association camp at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. The Blue Jay cheer squad took home overall Grand Champion in the home cheer and dance routines, and the staff award.

LSU AgCenter researchers receive USDA grant to study pollinator health

By Tobie Blanchard BATON ROUGE — LSU AgCenter entomologists Kristen Healy and Daniel Swale received nearly a million dollars from the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture to study honeybee health.

A wedding at East Elementary
