Young Christians honored at St. Edmund

At the end of each grading term, St. Edmund students Pre-k through eighth-grade are recognized for their outstanding character. The following students earned the Young Christian Award for the second six weeks.

Business Yard of the Month recognized

Victory Christian Worship Center at 100 N. Second St. was awarded Business Yard of the Month presented by volunteer member of the Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club Fran Guillory.

LSU AgCenter poinsettia open house

BATON ROUGE – The LSU AgCenter will host a poinsettia open house and sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec. 2 at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden, located at 4560 Essen Lane near Interstate 10 in Baton Rouge.

Satellite Club gives Thanksgiving baskets

The Satellite Club of Eunice each year presents Thanksgiving baskets to deserving seniors in Eunice. The members choose two families to give, which includes an entire Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey with all the trimming.
