Summer Children’s play opens Thursday

“Law and Order Fairy Tale Unit” by Jonathan Rand opens Thursday evening at Eunice Players’ Theater. The 37-member cast and crew, ages 6-15, have been busy donning costumes and makeup, putting the finishing touches on character development, and setting props and lighting and sound cues.

The ‘Mighty Fortress’ Vacation Bible School

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church sponsored Happy Days at the “Mighty Fortress”, a Vacation Bible School program, this week from 9 a.m. until 11:30 each morning.

StoryTime hour at Eunice Public Library

The Eunice Public Library held its first StoryTime reading hour Wednesday. The Theme of the summer months StoryTime readings is “Build a Better World.” Bobbie Bordelon, children’s librarian, was the guest reader. She read, “Bear Says Thanks,” by Karma Wilson.
