Eunice High School seniors Kyonna Freeman, Thelma Guillory, Keeona Ned and Kirsten Guidry did their senior project as a documentary of Eunice High School. They recorded students, principals and teachers and asked them different things around the high school. They asked about sports, the fallen classmates and also many other interesting things. This week’s Student of the Week is Alexander Manuel, a sophomore at Eunice High School. His parents are Mike and Monica Manuel.
If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Russia because that’s where I was adopted from.
Do you have a career wish? I would like to become a petroleum engineer or a physical therapist.
What could you eat seven days a week? Any kind of steak.
What could you never eat? Spaghetti.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will feature a performance by Kevin Naquin & The Ossun Playboys.
Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $5.
Starting at 10 a.m. at the Jean Lafitte, children can participate in arts and crafts, all free of charge.
