Birth Announcements

Hudson Carron Amanda Aguillard Carron and Robert Carron announce the birth of their son, Hudson Blake Carron, born at Acadian Medical Center on March 8 weighing 6 pounds and 8 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Rickey and Angie Aguillard of Eunice.

Mayor visits St. Edmund second graders

The Mayor of Eunice Scott Fontenot was a guest speaker for the second grade classes of Mary Joubert and Ali Cormier. Students are studying the government of our country and Mayor Fontenot explained what his job entails as the leader of a local government.

Callier at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will feature a performance by Jackie Callier, Ivy Dugas & the Cajun Cousins. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5. Starting at 10 a.m.
