Miss Cure of The Bayou Queen

Brooke Gaspard of Eunice is the new Miss Cure On the Bayou III. Gaspard will represent Thibodaux and Louisiana Relay for Life. She was crowned on Jan. 7 at the Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department contest. Gaspard will travel to all parts of Louisiana repesenting “a fight against all types of cancer.

Glendale students learn about farming

Recently, students in pre-k at Glendale Elementary enjoyed learning all about farms. In anticipation of farm week, Pre-K set up an incubator with 17 eggs, and tracked their progr​ess on a calendar, viewing the growth, and candling the eggs to view chick development.
