A Discovery Dome Magic at St. Edmund

St. Edmund Elementary, second through fifth-graders, had the opportunity to enter a dome and discover science. On March 21 courtesy of the Louisiana Science & Art Museum, a Discovery Dome Magic tree house educational activity was displayed in the elementary gymnasium.

A Champion livestock student at St. Francis

Emily Zaunbrecher, a sixth-grade student and 4-H member at St. Francis School participated in the recent state Livestock Show in Gonzales. Emily competed with two of her lambs. She placed Champion Jr. Showman, Grand Champion Market Lamb, Reserve Champion Louisiana Bred and Market Lamb overall.

Eunice High School seniors Kyonna Freeman, Thelma Guillory, Keeona Ned and Kirsten Guidry did their senior project as a documentary of Eunice High School. They recorded students, principals and teachers and asked them different things around the high school.

Top AR readers at East Elementary

Kyson Courville Ashley Courville of Eunice announces the birth of her son, Kyson Scott Courville, born at Acadian Medical Center on March 20 weighing 5 pounds and 7 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Glen and Paula Courville of Eunice.
