School chief to reorganize Central Office jobs

The St. Landry Parish School Board’s Central Office is on the verge of a reorganization in a plan presented by Superintendent Patrick Jenkins. “This reorganization will not cost the Board any additional funds,” Jenkins said. “The best case scenario is it will save us funds — over a $100,000.

ACT prep class Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson will hold a free ACT Prep Class on Feb. 4 for all interested high school students in Acadiana. The class will be held at the Sheriff’s Office, 1037 Capitol Avenue, in Crowley. Classes will begin at 8 a.m. and end about 2 p.m.

Free child car seat installation Free installation of child car safety seats is being offered from 4 to 6 p.m. every Monday at Word Ministries, 1960 W. Laure Ave., Eunice. The seats will be installed by a nationally certified technicians.
