Sheriff: Man charged with attempted murder in road rage incident

A Lafayette man is charged with four counts of attempted second-degree murder in what Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson called a road rage incident. Gibson said the incident occurred on Interstate 10 near Duson at about 11:30 a.m. March 19.

Eunice Police Arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. March 18 August L. Carter, 24, 800 block of South Beulah, Eunice. Motor vehicle inspection sticker expired, switched license plate, no driver’s license, no insurance, possession of Schedule I CDS, less than 2 grams.

Men accused of raping girl

Two men have been charged with detaining two sisters and raping the younger one, according to a news release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
