The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. March 9 Marcus Paul LeJeune, 19, 500 block of N. 2nd Street, Eunice. Bench warrant. Arrested by Eunice Police. Chase Emil Deville, 31, 500 block of Highway 190, Eunice.

Eunice Police identify shooting suspect

Eunice Police are attempting to locate Jasten Thomas, of the 200 block of North7th Street, Eunice, in connection with a shooting that occurred about 6:45 pm. Sunday in the 300 block of North 7th Street. In a news release, Police Chief Randy Fontenot identified Thomas a 19-year-old black male.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Office reports arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. March 8 Harold Joseph Stansbury Jr., 34, 100 block of Broussard Lane, Arnaudville. Bench warrant. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Michael Zane Marks, 40, 1400 block of Cherokee Drive, Opelousas.

Eunice Police investigating Sunday shooting

A man was wounded three times in a shooting at 7th and reed Sunday afternoon. Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said a vehicle on North 7th Street stopped and one person got out. Several people were present and shooting started wounding the person.
