Jamboree kicks off season

By Tom Dodge Sports Editor The first pitch of the annual Perry Pitre Ford jamboree means high school baseball season is about to begin. The two-day tournament begins with junior varsity action on Friday with the varsity teams facing each other on Saturday.

Experience leads Bobcat baseball

By Tom Dodge Sports Editor This is the 50th year of Bobcat baseball and Eunice High head coach Scott Phillips has been a part of 29 seasons. “Baseball is still baseball and we still have kids who are eager to play the game,” Phillips said.

Sacred Heart sweeps St. Ed’s
