Emergency Medical Service Appreciation Week celebration

EMS (Emergency Medical Service) Appreciation Week was recognized nationally last week. Mercy Regional in Ville Platte and Acadian Medical Center in Eunice honored EMS groups for their service given to hospitals and patients.

St. Edmund Catholic High School held its Seniors Awards ceremony Thursday, May 16. The program honors and recognizes seniors in all areas of high school including leadership, service, academics, sports, clubs, civic and college scholarships and special awards.

Former East students recognized for LEAP

These current Central Middle School students were recognized by their former principal, Gina LaGrange at East Elementary, for excelling on previous LEAP exams while attending East Elementary. These students were rewarded T-shirts, gift cards and Sonic certificates.
