NAUW & ZETA members host Memorial Day breakfast

Members of NAUW-Eunice Branch and ZETA Amicae co-sponsored a breakfast to honor the fallen service men and women of the Armed Forces on May 27. Prior to the breakfast, they held a prayer meeting at Honey Bee Cemetery and placed flags on the graves of relatives there.

East Elementary held its final Super Celebration of the year recently to honor TICK (Totally In Control Kid) students who have achieved excellent behavior for the entire school year.

AR Students of the Week honored at Highland

These Highland Elementary students received Sonic AR Student of the Week awards. They each earned the title for a week in April and May for working hard in the Accelerated Reading program, exceeding their goal, maintaining a 95 percent or above, and reading record numbers of books.
