East Elementary students dressed as their favorite Super Hero during Drug Awareness “Say No To Drugs”.

East Elementary students recently celebrated Drug Awareness with many activities and events on campus. One day during the week of Oct. 22 students were allowed and privileged to wear red.

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Don Fontenot & Friends of Louisiana.

Even though the flu season usually begins about now, the vaccine will protect you within about two weeks. The season typically peaks in January or February and runs through May.
