The Eunice Public Library lists its newest books for September.

This week’s Student of the Week is Paisley Fruge, a senior at Eunice High School. Her parents are Melinda Atchison and Chad Fruge.

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by August Broussard & Friends.
Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m.

Eunice High Alumni donated $1,500 to the EHS baseball from the 12th annual Alumni Softball tournament held in August.

Super Behavior awards were presented recently to East Elementary students. The award recognizes students quarterly who demonstrate excellent behavior and character traits.
