National CDA Sunday Proclamation recognized

Cajun August Broussard at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will feature a performance by Cajun Broussard & Friends. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.

Mr. Hargrave, Miss Schexnayder plan Nov. 25 nuptials

The engagement of Miss Lyndsey Nacole Schexnayder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Maurice Schexnayder of Ville Platte to Mr. Kayne Micheal Hargrave, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell James Hargrave of Maurice, has been announced by their parents. The couple will exchange wedding vows at 6:30 p.m.

Honor Roll listed at Central Middle School

Central Middle School lists its first nine-weeks of school Honor Roll recipients. Fifth grade 4.0 GPA : Kaylin Alfred, Davion Arvie, Brandon Contreras, Jyerra Edwards, Breanna Fruge, Julien Granger, Fajah Guillory, Miracle Guillory, Adayvia Mose, Caden Schoeffler, and Zayiana Soileau.

Student chosen as honoree rider with police

The Eunice Police department invited a Glendale Elementary the honor to ride in Eunice High homecoming parade held Oct. 5. Conner Faul, a third grader in Mallie Smith’s homeroom, was chosen to represent the elementary school. Faul’s name was chosen in a drawing of the top PBIS students.
