Crowley Police seek tips to dealership theft

Crowley Police Department detectives are investigating a felony theft from Shetler Corley Ford, located in the 1600 block of North Parkerson Avenue. Four tires and rims were stolen from a vehicle between 3 and 6 a.m. on Jan. 14.

The Mardi Gras is “looking good” said Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot. “We are just praying for some good weather, but rain or shine it is going to go on,” he said. The mayor said he isn’t worried about the crowds showing up.

2 arrested in West Vine burglary, attack

Two men were arrested Monday for the Feb. 5 burglary and a attack in the 1400 block of West Vine, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. During the incident a 78 -year-old man encountered two men in his residence after midnight.
