The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Friday, Nov. 22 Loresa Jean Strahan, 46, 700 block of W. South Street, Opelousas. Aggravated second degree battery. Arrested by Opelousas Police.

Man flees narcotics detectives, going wrong way on U.S. 190

As St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s narcotics detectives investigated drug possession and trafficking, Kenan Diquan Charles was observed and when approached he fled, according to a news release from Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
