PORT BARRE – St. Edmund exploded for four runs in the top of the sixth inning as the Lady Jays grabbed a 6-3 road win Thursday over the Port Barre Lady Devils. The Blue Jays jumped out to a 19-4 first quarter lead as St. Edmund earned a 64-50 win Tuesday over University Academy of Central Louisiana. The Lions scored first, but the Blue Jays answered with a 13-0 surge including seven points from Easten Coleman.

Bobcats fall to Red Devils

In their final home game of the season Tuesday, the Eunice Bobcats fell 53-50 to the Port Barre Red Devils. Port Barre got it started early in the first quarter with three three-pointers from Glen Pickney, Mehkai Franklin and J.T. Pickney. Frank Lazare also knocked down two free-throws also.
