Lady Wolves seek 3-III district volleyball title

RAYNE - With a 7-1 district slate heading into their last week of district play, the Lady Wolves are in search of a possible district title before entering post-seaosn play. The Lady Wolves have claimed wins in a tough district with wins over Crowley, Eunice, Iota Church Point and Northwest.

No. 10 Blue Jays face Warriors

The Blue Jays travel for their final road trip of the regular season as St, Edmund visits Grand Lake Friday. St. Edmund (6-1, 4-0) is trying to repeat as District 4-1A champions for the first time since 2003-2004 and a win over the Hornets keeps the Jays atop the standings.

Lady Bobcats hold senior night

The Eunice Lady Bobcats battled on senior night Tuesday, but the visiting Rayne Lady Wolves grabbed a 3-0 win in district play. Rayne (17-11) won the first game 25-9 en route to the sweep.
