By John Burson. Sports Writer ThThe Eunice High Lady Bobcats claimed a win over Opelousas Catholic in the Eunice High School Baseketball Jamboree held last week. The Lady Bobcats scored 28 points against the Lady Vikings on their way to the victory.

OBERLIN — The Eunice High basketball teams opened their seasons here Tuesday evening with victories. Coach Chad Andrepont’s Bobcats took a 63-19 victory over the Tigers. The Bobcats opened the game with a 10-4 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Iota traveling to meet Kaplan Pirates

IOTA — The Iota High Bulldogs claimed a spot in the Class 3A football second round bracket with a 42-28 victory over Patterson. The Bulldogs, under the guidance of head coach Josh Andrus, dominated the rushing attack thanks to Kaleb Guillory.
