The Bobcats face a tough non-district opponent Thursday as Eunice travels to No. 6-ranked Tioga. The game was moved up from Friday because of the threat of stormy weather. ‘They have a really good team.” Eunice head coach Paul Trosclair said of the Indians.

The Bobcats needed to bounce back after a last-second loss against Rayne and Eunice High responded with a 49-28 win over Washington-Marion. With the win, the Bobcats improve to 5-2 overall and 101 in district and will travel for a non-district game at No. 7 Tioga this week.

Jays soar past Hurricanes

The St. Edmund Blue Jays celebrated homecoming with a convincing 57-0 win over the North Central Hurricanes. The Blue Jays exploded for 36 points in the first half and then added 21 more points in the third period. “It was a big win for us,” James Shiver said.
