Grand Lake left St. Edmund with a pair of key district wins over the Blue Jays Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets (14-10 overall, 4-1) held onto first place in District 4-1A with a 63-49 win over the Blue Jays.

The Lady Indians (11-5, 2-1) handed the Lady Jays (5-9. 2-1) its first District 4-1A loss as Elton earned a 66-46 win over St. Ed’s.

Lady Cats grab win over Crowley, Bobcats fall

The Eunice High Lady Bobcats dominated the second half of play against the Crowley High Ladies to claim their first district win of the season by a 47-34 margin in 5-3A action at the Bobcat gym.

Lady Jays grab 42-40 thriller

GRAND CHENIER – St. Edmund’s Gabby Fontenot hit a driving jumper at the buzzer as the Lady Jays grabbed a 42-40 win over South Cameron.
With the win, the Lady Jays improved to a 2-0 in District 4-1A play, 5-8 overall.

VC earns sweep over St. Edmund

In the final non-district clash of the year, St. Edmund was swept by Vermilion Catholic.
The Lady Eagles exploded for an 11-2 first quarter run as VC cruised to a 56-29 win over the Lady Jays.
