EHS shines in Bobcat Relays

Four Eunice High Lady Bobcats were named to the 5-3A All-District basketball team as selected by the coaches. EHS junior Stacie White (20.2 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game) was selected to the first team.

Iota runs past Eunice, 12-2

IOTA – The Lady Bulld ogs exploded for seven runs in the fifth and added three more runs in the sixth inning to seal a 12-2 District 5-3A victory over the Eunice Lady Bobcats. Eunice (4-11, 2-4) scored a run in the top of the second when Cassie Thomas singled and scored on an Iota error.

Bobcats run past Spartans

The Eunice High Bobcats used a four-run third inning to take an early lead on their way to a 5-1 victory over the East Ascension Spartans in baseball action Thursday evening at Bobcat Field.

Lady Jays earn shut out win

Bobcats run past Bears

Eunice High improved its overall record to 9-6 with a 13-3 victory over Carencro in baseball action at Bobcat Field. The Bobcats took an early lead to support starting pitcher Ian George, who allowed just two runs over five innings of work before Tyler Darbonne relieved him in the top of the sixth.

Lady Cats down Northwest

Eunice freshman pitcher Jailyn Pavich struck out five out the first nine Northwest batters as the Lady Cats rolled to a 9-3 win over District 5-1A rival Northwest The Lady Cats (4-10 overall, 2-4 in district) will travel to Iota (10-4, 4-1) today as district action continues.

5-1A All-District team released

The St. Edmund Lady Jays placed five players on the All-District 4-1A team as selected by the coaches. Merryville claimed the district title and finished as the Class 1-A state runners-up after a 69-53 loss to No. 1 Delhi.
