After 10 years of competing and enjoying the reunion, the Eunice High Alumni Association annual softball tournament will try a different approach this season.
Church Point began the 2016 football season with five straight losses.

Helping athletes battle heat-related issues can be a matter of life or death.
It is an issue that Eunice High certified athletic trainer Kyle Vincent and others take very seriously.
Every team has high hopes heading into the football season with the plan to win their respective districts and make a deep run in the playoffs.
Eunice (6-5, 4-1) finished second in District 5-3A behind Northwest last season.
Every two years, the LHSAA makes changes in the districts and this time it affected both the St. Edmund and Eunice High athletic programs.
Numerous ministers and police officers battled on the basketball court Tuesday night at the New Zion Baptist Church.
Their high school acerres are over but they will be remembered for their accompishments as stellar athletes and quality individuals.
The Eunice Bobcats captured a 10-5 decision over the Rayne Wolves in Metro League action Tuesday at Bobcat Field.
