The Eunice High Lady Bobcats dominated the second half of play against the Crowley High Ladies to claim their first district win of the season by a 47-34 margin in 5-3A action at the Bobcat gym. The two teams went back and forth in the first quarter with the Lady Bobcats holding a 10-9 lead.

Lady Jays grab 42-40 thriller

GRAND CHENIER – St. Edmund’s Gabby Fontenot hit a driving jumper at the buzzer as the Lady Jays grabbed a 42-40 win over South Cameron. With the win, the Lady Jays improved to a 2-0 in District 4-1A play, 5-8 overall. After taking on Elton Wednesday, the Lady Jays travel to Oberlin Friday.
