The Eunice High Lady Bobcats jumped out to a 15-11 lead after one quarter on their way to a 66-39 victory over the Church Point High Lady Bears in District 5-3A basketball action Friday nigth at the Bobcat gym.

Hurricanes sweep Jays

North Central moved another step closer to another pair of district titles with a sweep over St. Edmund. The Lady Hurricanes (20-5, 4-0) rolled to a 74-41 win, while the Hurricanes cruised to a 66-24 victory.

PRAIRIE RHONDE – The Eunice High Bobcats dropped a 55-46 decision to the Northwest High Raiders Tuesday night in District 5-3A basketball action. Coach Chad Andrepont’s Bobcats took a 15-14 lead after one quarter and maintained a 26-25 lead at halftime.

Hornets sweep Blue Jays

Catholic HIgh of Pointe Coupee grabbed a key District 5-1A sweep over St. Edmund Friday night. St. Edmund’s Gabby Fontenot drilled a pair of treys early to give the Lady Jays a 6-0 advantage but CHPC answered with three pointers from Kennedi Broussard and Jolie Thibodeaux.

The Eunice High Lady Bobcats opened District 5-3A play with a 62-35 victory over the Port Barre Lady Red Devils in basketball action Monday night at the Bobcat gym. The Lady Cats managed an 11-7 lead at the end of the first quarter, with sophomore Stacie White leading the scoring with seven points.
